Disneyland Paris: tickets, parks and how to get there
A resort of two theme parks about 32 kilometres east of Paris, reached by train in around 40 minutes. Choose your ticket and plan your day.
In short
- The resort has two parks. A one-park ticket lets you choose either of them for the day, and a two-park ticket lets you move between them on the same day.
- The RER A takes you from central Paris to Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy, the last stop, right by the park entrances, in around 40 minutes.
- Allow a full day for one park. Opening hours change with the day and the season, and appear when you choose your date.
- If you would rather not work out the trains, there are packages with a train or a shuttle from Paris.
Two parks and a village
The resort opened on 12 April 1992. The first park opened that day and has been called Disneyland Park since 2002; it covers about 57 hectares and has five areas: Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland. The second park opened on 16 March 2002 as a park about cinema and was renamed Disney Adventure World on 29 March 2026, when new areas and a new central lake opened. Building work is still going on there.
Between the station and the park gates there is a village with restaurants, shops and a cinema. It is a good place to eat before or after your day.
One park or two, one day or more?
For a first visit, one day in one park is the most relaxed choice: you can see the main areas without rushing. If you want to see both parks in one day, the two-park ticket lets you move between them, but expect to see only the highlights. For more time, choose two days or more.
The tickets do not include food and drink, parking or priority access to the rides. Cancellation terms depend on the option you choose and are shown when you book.
A station at the gates

The easiest part of the day is getting there. Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy station opened in 1992 for the RER, and in 1994 for high-speed trains, and it stands right next to the park entrances and the village. Besides the RER A, it is served by TGV and Ouigo trains. From Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport a high-speed train takes less than 10 minutes.
Planning the day
Arrive a little before opening and travel light. Wear comfortable shoes: you will walk a lot.
