By metro and RER

From École Militaire (line 8) you walk across the Champ de Mars towards the Tower, which is a fine way to arrive. Bir-Hakeim (line 6) is on the other side of the river, and the RER C stops at Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel.

On foot from the Trocadéro

The Eiffel Tower in spring, its iron lattice framed by green leaves and pink blossom on the branches in the foreground.

If you get off at Trocadéro you see the Tower from the opposite side, across the river, and you walk down to it over the Pont d'Iéna.

By river

Several Seine cruises leave from landing stages right next to the Tower: Port de la Bourdonnais for the Bateaux Parisiens boats and Port de Suffren for the Vedettes de Paris boats. A cruise is a good way to end a visit.
